I believe a man with a great amount of knowledge and "knowhow" (which is also a type of knowledge) might appear as smart because of the illusion that he accumulated that knowledge at he same time others did not, and as so is perceived as one with a greater ability to learn - but that is not enough to consider someone smart.

Well they say left handed people are smart......(they actually have one more brain cell than normal that makes them write with thier left hand ) downside is they on average die 10 years younger than the average right handed person ...(strange but true..well thats what I read)

So, after 3 mentions of my name I arrive.

What defines a person as a smart person? I went to College and I took an IQ test. This was some kind of IQ test that measures brains based on different areas. Abstract thinking, mechanical thinking, math, English/language, etc. Maybe this thing helps to decide who is smart or not. An IQ test could be timed, so they can see how many problems you can solve in a given time period. This is what the education system, universities and colleges do.

So, yes, you can learn some knowledge. But, there is also the time factor in how fast you can learn something new or how fast you can solve a problem.

The IQ tests can't measure every kind of human skill, because they are not designed to measure that.

Through my life on this planet, I coming to conclusions that are impossible. The impossibility is that some people are so smart that they have psyhic abilities and they are able to read minds and control minds. An IQ test makes no measure of this psychic skill.

Old buddy of mine here who is never on anymore sold his network after building it himself over a couple of years - bought a house, and retired. That's smart.
