Newbie with an attitude

Fuck me!

I need advice on what in the industry will provide the most info for a newbie like me.

I've signed up to work every hour of the day to produce a new site with some adult industry friends (and watch porn). We are building a platform where content producers are getting more than their fair share and those driving traffic to the site will have HUGE smiles all the way to the bank.

My background? Monetization.

I have 10 yrs of experience finding ways for big name websites (CBS Interactive, YouTube, + others) to yield more revenue. Now it's my turn to produce revenues in an industry I love to play in.

Can you help a girl get on the right path?

As for content producers get ready to work with the bottom of the barrel, ones that are not making any money anyway as well they suck....

The rest have heard the song and dance before and wont give a hoot unless you send cash first to make it worth our while.

You're right it didn't happen, there was no YouTube in 1999. But there were other online companies like CNET.com, now CBS Interactive.

My asking for general information was my introduction and next time I will definitely have more pointed questions. I am here to do business and maybe make a few friends along the way. I have a network of close friends in the adult industry and have always been fascinated by how the adult space worked. They were always interested in how the mainstream side operated and what the metrics were with display advertising. We all learned a lot from each other.
