100% normal.
for adults blogs, i wouldn't really consider commenting needed, considering how it is hardly ever used anyways. so just disable it. if commenting adds value to your site and you want to include it, it's really not hard to rip through the moderation page once in a while.
spam should be expected. i look right passed it like spam in my inbox. no real fuss.Comment
