    Transexuals or Transsexuals?

    I've just picked up an excellent tranny name,

    But!

    Which way should it be spelt? or doesn't it matter?

    I checked google,

    Transexuals: 4,9??,??? results approx
    Transsexuals: 5,4??,??? results approx

    Both have dictionary meanings (slightly different)

    Transexuals to me looks correct, Transsexuals looks like a misspell (obviously it's not)

    Anyway what do you reckon?

      I always had the same opinion that you have... but it looks like the correct is with SS... (still I continue to write it with one S... LOL)

          I dunno I think they are both actual words but with slightly different meanings, or one is more common than the other.

                          Transsexual is correct in english, and i am pretty sure transexual is correct in spanish but they are both used all the time from what I have seen.
