Here's some advice which I don't think anyone has come up with yet. It's aimed at anyone thinking about shooting in Thai.

Don't shit on your own doorstep.

Live and work on a computer in one place and shoot in another town, place or city. Pose as a tourist who loves to take pictures and videos. A little more expensive but far safer. Also there are some beautiful islands and deserted beaches that are far more interesting then the usual Thai 3-4 star hotel.

Never recruit from the same bar in the same month is also a good tip.

Worked this way in the early 80s and had some great times. And great work, which was confiscated then destroyed by the police in London.

tells me not to play in dirty water.. dont drink the water or eat anything that was washed in water, brush my teeth in bottled water.. dont drink fountain pop.. dont buy dead chicken or play in chicken shit lol.. watch out for ppl selling fake medicine.. best i bring my own.. got some mosquitos spray.. got some pills incase I get the shits.

surprized she didnt sell me condoms.

Most water is bottled, they don't want sick customers.

Sate on the street is very good. But watch out, i once ordered chicken and i tasted some hard pieces. In malyasia i learned that was sate from the asshole of an chicken. They like that in Thailand and malaysia. But it wasn't that bad.
