Porn is completely illegal in Thailand. And, if you were to get caught shooting such content, the consequences could be heavy (unless your 'connected' or 'protected in some way). However, working remotely without a work permit is questionable. I know a ton of foreigners ('farangs') who live there and work remotely, in both mainstream and adult sectors, and they do fine but they don't broadcast their lives to anyone. So, best advice: (1) Your business is YOUR business only. Keep it yourself, especially if you're quite successful and (2) be sure that the girls that you're bringing back each night aren't seeing what you're up to (blackmail is a bitch). Simply close down the laptop each night before you head out.

I have been researching it on ThaiVisa among other places and the impression I got were that its a gray zone and probably not legal but no one had a definite answer to it.

I agree get away from the tourist places its a very different Thailand, I had my best time when I could go days without seeing another farang only problem is the language barrier not to many speak good English.
