I've read Obama's book: Audacity of Hope and I followed some news articles on Barack Obama. I'm happy with Barack Obama. I like that he looks at all the different groups of people out there. He even knows about the street gangs, and poor people. It's good that he's thinking about everybody when he comes up with solutions. I'm glad that's he's trying to make America's health care more public, or less expensive. I went on a trip to New York on Sept. 29 and I saw some poor people and bums lying around on the streets. I think these unfortunate souls would greatly appreciate some kind of health care. Otherwise they would be left to die. So, like Barack Obama is saying, America needs some kind of health care that's closer to the Canadian health care perhaps. I live in Toronto myself, and I like the free health care coverage in Canada. It is good that Barack Obama is making efforts towards peace and he won the nobel peace prize. Also, certainly Obama being a black man is a step towards reducing racism and racial profiling against blacks in the USA. Right now Barack Obama is considering a request from one of the generals on whether or not to send 40,000 additional troops to Afghanistan. Well, I know that he already sent 25,000 troops to Aghanistan. Afghanistan can't be taken over as easy as Americans took over Suddam Hussein, articles say. Anyway, like I was saying, I like that Barack Obama talks to everybody in the USA, from all walks of life, regardless whether they are rich or poor, stupid or smart. Everyone gets the same vote. That being said, I know Barack Obama talks to the adult industry people and pornographers, as well. Yes, I've seen that episode of the daily show, which showed a pornographer and a model who couldn't stop farting being interviewed. They also said that the pornographer contributed $10,000 to Barack Obama' party and got a signed photo from Barack Obama.

Exactly. I bet at least 20-30% of unemployed people could find work but they don't want to accept something they feel is below them. Hell, if you are unemployed for a year and really can't find something create your own job. Thats what this business is all about!

Is it better to have a largely ineffective government much like what McCain would have been, or is it better to have a government that is highly active and able to do a lot which is what you have now?

Personally I think the former is best.

Being president isn't all reforms and new policies and making bold decisions!!

Just running the country, keeping it going is a tough job. You don't have to solve 20 of societies major problems in your first year.

He didn't inherit it. He spent millions of dollars and nearly 2 years auditioning for the position.

Idiocy

You really need to check your facts. The national debt was at 10.6 trillion on January 20th, 2009, the day Obama took office. You're parroting garbage you picked up on Faux News. Stick to facts, skippy.

Eventually I will read past your idiotic response. But being the first idiot to respond I was compelled to acknowledge your idiocy.

I won't key on the fact that you were too stupid to actually answer the question. Unless of course you are a Jewish mother that is trying to inflict guilt by responding to the question with a question that is intended to encourage some guilt laden response.

I move to Canada and have to acknowledge this ignorance regularly.

Most likely deserved. If you couldn't find any place to generate an income within a year, you should could your blessings that the idiots in the beaurocratic process haven't cut off your funding.
