What exactly is the point of the show?

We are watching some fairly attractive woman with beautiful hands and feet dealing with 8 children and some how not going insane?

Is that really the thrill of this show?

I am kind of at a loss as to what would be so exciting that this show has lasted more than a single season. Sure, I love seeing that Kate woman's toes in every episode I saw today. But beyond that, I am not sure what the appeal of something like this would be. Much less worthy of all the media attention.

I woke up to it the other morning, and it was on.

Tonight, I am channel flipping, and just happened to be waiting on Intervention and Million Dollar Listing tonight and came across it. So I was like, ok. So I'll watch a few episodes, catch some toe peeks, and see if I can figure it out.

I still can't really see the appeal. However, I guess you are just waiting for her to snap with those eight kids and hubbo and all that madness...

However, she does have some beautiful hands and feet.

watching tv in hopes of glimpses of toes sounds boring... I mean how often does it really happen?

More than I would think or is it few and far between?

Not sure I can gauge her sanity from 3-4 episodes, and various celebrity magazine covers.

As I said, I just caught part of the show the other morning, and this evening while waiting on Million Dollar Listing. So I have not even watched a handful of episodes to jump to a conclusion on her.

Well, I was simply killing time waiting for Million Dollar Listing and channel flipping.

I had my machines doing uploads, and figured I would take a little break. That is what I stopped on for an hour. You're right though on time being well spent. No way I could sit through seasons of that show.

My sister loves that show. We grew up in a broken family so (I think the) she watches that show and fantasizes about being in a big family liek that.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone mention her hands or feet. As if that's a reason to broadcast a show like this....so folks like BF can have stroke material

I liked the show in the beginning actually. It was interesting to see how a family could manage to feed 8 kids on one guy's salary. It was cool for putting things into perspective, whenever I would feel overwhelmed with work and bills and kids and whatever, I remembered that my life was pretty calm and mellow compared to theirs.

As the seasons went on though, she became more and more bitchy and emasculating. I think this helped their ratings because women love to watch that shit.
Once they started making money from it and he quit his job, I pretty much lost interest. That's when she really became super bitch and he became super whipping boy and the "reality" part was gone, because now they weren't an average couple trying to raise an extraordinarily large family....they were rich celebrities with cameras in their house.

Something like that is just an added perk to the footie folk chief.

There are many shows that rank high on foot guy's lists to watch for just that reason. Which just goes to show how little most know about the foot fetish niche, and it's potential customer base.
