I like it....

It just needs a little cleaning up by a veteran webmaster(min 10 years). The galleries look on point, spacing is done right, the banners that correlate with the content are on point, navigation is amazing(I love it), niche on niche, ..........WHOOOOOAaaa

You are obviously not a noob...

The WordPress site overall is great.

I would just keep an eye on how many queries to database you do on the most visited pages. The server load and response time may slow. I just went through an upgrade for my 60k unique daily WordPress site. I managed to cut down my queries 100 to 24 on my main page.

Anyway.... GOOD JOB!!!

Thats the problem these days. So many people are running blogs, its making it harder and harder to make decent conversions.

The amount of extra bandwidth for everytime the page is refreshed it would cost less bandwidth and storage to have a small thumb and full size pic.

Loading full size images takes up more bandwidth than a small image and then linking to full size, why you say that? Because the user only clicks on a couple pictures so out of those 4 they click in a gallery of 12, only 4 are using bandwidth, now if you use full size, then all 12 are being loaded.

Edit: Not to mention it makes your site seem like it's loading slow, thus making the visitor close your site before looking at it.
