I love my new MacBook Pro, but until Mac catches up on the touch side of things, I'll stick with my Touchsmart HP desktop for a minute.

The available quad-core Intel Core i5 or Core i7 ?Nehalem? processor in the 27-inch iMac puts four processing cores on one die, so data doesn?t have to travel far to get from core to core.

Yeah you can add it in the store, didn't see that.

Last weekend I bought an I7 920, P6T motherboard and ram for less than $900. It clocks up to 3.2 on air which is faster than a stock Mac Pro.

I love Apple, I have two Iphones and a Macbook pro. But their pricing and lagging tech makes me wince sometimes. I think if you really wanted to enjoy OS X you have to build your own box to get the necessary power.
