Yes there will be! It ain't over til it's over. There's a bunch of Yankees fans who will have a hard time going to sleep tonight. Still plenty of baseball to be played. Petite on short rest, Phillies could do a lot of damage against him in game 6.

Game 7 between these two teams would be insane.

Yankees will win this in game 6. With home filed advantage, the DH spot and Posada the Yankees are nearly unstoppable. Today's lineup wasn't as good as it can be and Phillies just barely got the win out.

They're shooting fireworks and guns outside my window - hundreds of people in the streets, honking horns, the police are coming now - crazy stuff!! I live in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood and they LOVE baseball here, and play it in the streets at night when there's hardly any traffic.

NYC deserves this. :)

The Yankees make me sick and represent everything that is wrong with baseball. The whole organization is a disgrace from The Boss to the guy who gets rid of the dirty syringes and provides the fake urine samples for A-Fraud.

Having said that..... watching Hideki Matsui play baseball has made me a better person. The fact that he plays for the Evil Empire cannot diminish from the fact that he is a true professional and a tribute to the great game of baseball.

Players like him and Chase Utley are why I still watch baseball in spite of the disgusting spectacles of $200 million payrolls and bloated steroid freaks.

It seems quite in my part of the Bronx, glad they won on a weekday. I am north on the deagan expressway about 10 minutes from the stadium, and the spanish people in my building don't need any reason to make a lot of noise.

Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite.... more Yankees who are true professionals.

Agreed. Rivera is indisputably the greatest closer of all time and one of the top 5 pitchers of all time. Petite and Jeter are clearly stand up guys and true professionals who always play hard every night. I still fucking hate the Yankees though!!!! :mad:
