10k followers on twitter, how can I make money?

True story. I can get 10k followers very quickly using a bot to automatically follow and unfollow those who don't follow me back. The list of followers may look big but it has absolutely zero value.

Have you considered adding a few mainstream offers from time to time? The Twitter demographic isn't exactly what we would consider loaded with paying customers, but they will go for things that are free, or other junk like ringtones.

I have a separate Twitter account for each of my blogs, and I use a Twitter auto poster to update each one every time I update my blogs. I get a decent infusion of traffic from the Twitter accounts, not great but decent, and enough to warrant keeping them open.

The only way to make money off Twitter otherwise is if you are an authority on a subject and you Tweet about it daily. Say for instance you are a traffic expert and offer traffic generation services, and every day you Tweet useful information about traffic generation techniques, the clients will find you off your Twitter. But if you offer garbage you will get garbage in return...
