      I have never charged for trading links so i'm not worried.

        But TGP guys (and others) are getting devalued for offering standard recips, no payment needed

        And that's the balance: do you get more traffic from punters clicking recips or from Google?

        Once upon a time, I might value the recips more highly as a direct traffic source, but half the time these days (or more) the recips on a submitted gallery will point to TGPs owned by the submitter and never return any traffic to you anyway...

            maybe you should make a tip explaining why the sites that dominate google enagage in "link trading schemes" and paid links and google does not penalize them although webmasters report them on a daily basis.

                This is kind of old news and I noticed a few link trading companies are going under because of it
