                                                                I played college football and currently play rugby in the US at the highest level of competition. :::golf clap:::

                                                                Anyway, professional football has harder impacts as people use their head as a weapon. When you go to tackle someone in football you don’t hold anything back. In rugby you tackle more with your shoulder on the ball carrier’s hip.

                                                                Both sports have adopted rules recently to project players. You can’t tackle above the shoulders in rugby and in football you can’t lead with the head above the shoulders.
                                                                A lot of the videos on youtube are showing either old school NFL and illegal rugby tackles.
