I already knew this thread was about Russell before I even clicked it. It is a shame because he might have succeeded in the right environment but the Raiders right now are the most dysfunctional team in NFL history.

I am a Raider fan and it saddens me to see them so bad. He has potential, but their line sucks so bad he is running for his life on just about every play. Jeff Garcia was saying that in practice he hits every throw and looks like a world class QB, but in the games he can't do it. I wonder if he just can't handle the pressure of the game. I would like to see what he could do if they had a good line for him.

His stats for today:

8 if 13 passing, with 3 fumbles lost (he has 20 fumbles in 24 NFL games).

For the season, in five games, he has just one touchdown pass (against four interceptions) and has a dismal 41.7 passer rating (2nd lowest in the NFL).
