    How long does it take for GoDaddy to delete expired domain?

    60 days ? Nothing special about the domain so its not like there will be people lining up for it.

      domain that has my last name in it. Some guy had it for 2 years with empty page. I guess he didn't want to pay another 10 bucks to renew it.

        set up a backorder for it, that way you don't have to worry about when it comes available..they will do all the work for you and it will show up in your account afterwards..as long as nobody else beats ya to it, but it sounds like a domain that there won't be any comp for...

          I think backorders at godaddy automatically go to an auction now. Might be better to just let it drop.

          But yeah, domains take up to 90 days to drop depending on if it's in redemption period or pending delete.
