Seven to ten days is excessive, but there is a reason for a shorter period of two to three days.

It's all about posting and getting it from the financial institution that holds the funds.

Now, since it's all electronic and there are clearinghouses of sorts, I have no idea why that cannot be near-instant, too. It's not like they're FedEx'ing documents all across the country.

so i bought an aeroplan flight the other day, tried to use epassport - didn't work but aeroplan took the money. they deny it - now epassporte says it'll be 30 days before i get the money back
