A lot of surfers believe it or not still don't have flash installed... I would'nt bother with the flash banners at this point... Why take any chances at losing sales over it...

Flash causes Active X prompts to pop on MSIE browsers with securty set to prompt X

Active X script fuck with homepages and bookmarks, so that is normally banned.

I just noticed this today, when I submitted a gallery with a really nice flash banner from Top Bucks.

I submitted it to about 50 TGPs, about 5 of these rejected it because of the flash. But maybe some of the other 45 rejected it later and did not tell me. Who knows?

It's a pity, because it was a nice banner, but if some TGPs reject it, and some surfers cannot handle it, I will just lose too much traffic if I keep using it.

yes, that has been my experience in the past. For now,i've decided to stay away from flash for that very reason
