Nervous about my next scene set up.. opinions?

So despite my back injury I have to shoot some custom vids and a Halloween set for my site. I like to set up creative colorful sets but I'm honestly not very good at it, I such at interior decorating actly, my friends tell me my apartment looks like a bachelor pad

anyways I'm nervous about one set in particular I've wanted to do for along time and this might be my last chance to do an outdoor set this year. It might sound crazy, but hear me out... I want to fill a children's blow up swimming pool with soymilk and tons of Froot Loops. The pool is colorful, the cereal will be colorful, I'll prob wear some colorful plastic jewelry or something.. but I'm wondering how much cereal and milk and water I will need, obv I dont have to use all milk, that would be pricey! how fast the cereal will get soggy, will it start to stick to me and get gross, what it's gna smell like in the hot sun, etc..
I picture myself looking very tan with the sun hitting my wet skin with the milk dripping off and the cereal floating around me looking very weird and strangely hot at the same time...hopefully this is what I can achieve! My members are into weird kinda stuff like this I do a lot of food fucking on my site So any suggestions?

I'm also prob gna do something simple like a geisha costume for my Halloween (Snow White and the 7 dildos didn't work out ) and all I have so far is a bamboo rice paper room divider thing, and maybe like a samuri sword LOL! I told you guys I'm bad at this kinda stuff hehe Help!

I think it sounds like a very cool idea-but I do think you have a point about the cereal getting soggy and turning to mush very soon. That could be QUITE icky.

A geisha costume will be super easy. A quick google search yields a bunch of sites yields a bunch of cool wigs you could buy for your outfit like here: http://www.costumzee.com/tag/geisha+wig/

Buying a cute kimono dress will also be super cheap if you hit up China Town in Los Angeles. Top it off with some white as a ghost makeup, bright red lipstick and maybe a cheap Asian style parasol (get this from china town as well) and I think you've got a rather simple, cute costume.

I thin you are right to be concerned about this. You are basically making a huge mess. There are reasons why people dont normally splash around in breakfast cereal.

Try to come up with some fake milk and fake froot loops, (plastic froot loops and colored water) you are going to have a fly infested mess that stinks to high heaven for months wherever you do this if you use the real thing.

Go with colored water, real milk will stink forever, even if you dilute it with say 2/3 of water. About the cereals, see for yourself in a bowl of corn flakes, they get soggy after say 5 minutes or so. Putting you in the spot of either having to have huge amounts and change every so often or start thinking about some plastic substitute for the shots from a little distance and maybe only real cereals for the close up shots?

An outdoor shower for yourself, or at least a bucket of water and a rag so you could wipe yourself clean in between would probably come in handy also. You don't want soggy cereals all over yourself when doing pictures series.

Sounds like a huge waste of food to me, might look cool though. from experience milk comes out looking slightly blue and see through even if you don't water it down, we usually use 3.25% minimum for shoots.

Cereal commercials usually use glue so it comes out white

Use powdered milk.. real milk is fuckin expensive now.. same price as gas per gallon almost in most stores..

That will be a cool shoot, and yes, do it before it gets too cold out.. the lows here are down to 40's at night in Oregon, and soon enough it'll be down to 28 at night.. lol sometimes I miss LA.. other times I'm so glad I left..

oh I already have THREE geisha outfits and 2 wigs, they are the cheap kind but I'm gna get the altered and see what else I can do to spice them up! I'm just wondering what to put in the set besides my bamboo room divider thingy? And if I rly should do the white face thing or not.. prob not.. it's still pr0n after all

paint would look too much like paint, and wouldn't be easy to get off. I spent 90mins scrubbing paint off of my body LAST photo shoot (ask Ric Young how fun that was hahaha)

Another prob is I had my customer buy the BIGGEST pool I could get.. it's HUGE (as far as blow up pools go) you could fit 3 girls in it! (YES I will be doing jello/pudding wrestling in it soon! I asked Ashley Fires to join me this shoot but so far no reply)

damn you guys I'm getting discouraged and even more worried now. I'm actly doing this at the Blazing Bucks house and plan to dispose of the milk n cereal properly I don't think I will make such a disgusting mess that flys come out, I respect that house!

Grab some asian light's, the string lights..I seen some at Target. I would also try to find a make-up artist....makes all the difference in the world, also like...phototgrapher's make-up artist have alot of cool stuff, so if you can find one on Modelmayhem.com that would like to use the face pictures for their Profolio (TFC) you would be good as gold. You need some talented friends, and you both can score by using each other.

I have seen where model's take satin pieces aboubt 2 inches wide/4 feet long and wrapped them around the leg's, like ....stocking's (think candy cane strips) I could go on for hours.

The best ideas I read....where powered milk and plastic fruit, u could drop all that and go with a bathtub look, or sliced up fruit in the tub. Good luck!

oh 8 weeks ago I hurt it BAD at the gym, I have a bulging disc and a bone in my spine that is slipping backwards and TOTALLY STICKING OUT! I have basically been flat on my back ever since. ms Lexi Luv I fn <3 you! you always have the sweetest things to say in my threads you fn rock! Well no makeup artist on this one I am going BUDGET CHEAP for this shoot the cereal is going to be the most expensive thing here hehe Also not sure I even want to do the full white face geisha makeup.. I'm not evn sure I want to do the geisha thing cause the costumes look cheap but I'm gna try to fix that! String lantern lights are a GREAT IDEA! I think I will go find some of those and one of those geisha type of umbrella things.. it's a good start anyways! I wanted to do "Snow White and the 7 Dildos" but THAT COSTUME also turned out to be cheap looking and I can't do that scene how I picture it in my head!

Sliced fruit in the bathtub is great idea also! I think the sexy Ariel Rebel just did some sort of slices kiwi in the bathtub shoot I saw her Twittering about..I've also seen girls in the tub with sliced oranges, looks totally cool! for another day another shoot! I have so many fn ideas, all I have had is time to lay flat and write out shoot ideas.. but I only have 2 half days and a tight budget to get this shoot done.. so thanx for all of your opinions guys I really appreciate it!

use a paste made of water and flour...it will give a better white color and be thick so should photograph better...
for the fruit loops, if you aren't eating them, cover them with a clear shelac or something similar...this way they won't sog...

+1 on the fruit loop anti-sog idea, but the water and flour mix will need much mixing to maintain the right consistency and will begin to clump easily.

Milk won't begin to reek for quite a few hours, so no worries there - except for cost. You can dispose of it quite easily as well. Just run a hose from the tub to the nearest drain.

Actly I'm thinking of not evn doing the Froot Loops/swimming pool shoot anymore..I got sooo much great advice and even a couple emails from people who have actly done this exact same thing so I know I would of done it right and it would of been HOT but.. the weather is getting chilly. Not sure I want to be outside for an hour naked sitting in a pool full of cold ass milk..

Since I prob won't be shooting agn till December I might just do some fall/winter themed sets instead.. mbe get some fake snow and do something like this..

oh god, it's soo embarrassing an NOT a good story...
You know the kind of exercise bikes that are like a chair and your legs are in front of you and you're supposed to just sit back in the chair and move your legs? Well I was trying to push it SUPER HARD and beat all of my other records on this bike (I meticulously keep track of everything I do in the gym) so I was really peddling fast, moving my entire body, pushing with my thigh and back muscles.. basically using the equip improperly.. I'm 99% sure this is what did it.. After the bike I also did some stuff w 5 lb weights and ran up and down this flight of stairs by my apartment about 10x. The next day I woke up and I couldn't fn walk and there was a bone sticking out of my spine.

Soo fn embarrassing when I tell people this story most of them say "yeah right, you hurt it on webcam didn't you? You can tell me the truth" LOL Mbe I should make up some sort of story it would def be better than this one!
