Problem with buying sigs is there are three types.

1. contest whores that nobody ever hears of.
2. typical whores who's only potential appeal is that they get into trainwrecks and are generally mocked.
3. those that people actually like to read their posts and by most standards contribute around here.

Either way if you are in 1 or 2, despite your join date since an early join date and still being in those to categories just adds extra sadness. These people are lucky to get 30-60 a month.

Those in area 3 still can get and often do pull down hundreds if not thousands from their sigs. Even if they do not sell them.

I remember a short while ago where a lazy affiliate manager was alotted some money to buy sigs, and she showed up on gfy one day asking to buy sigs, did zero homework and had zero understanding of the personalities on the forum and just spent all the money buying the first 10 sigs that replied, which 90% were contest whores
