There are still people in this industry who have morals and ethics. I'm one of them. For GFY to do business with a company that supports illegal content theft is simply amazing. It's a big stab in the back and a big FUCK YOU to every content producer out there.

As a content producer who has sent out DMCA's to get my content removed from the same sites that are lined up on this skin - I can no longer be a part of nor support this community. This was a disastrous decision on the part of GFY to do business with these folks.

In the early days of online gambling there was a board called Bettors World that was THE place where everyone from sportsbook workers in Costa Rica to big name handicappers to the average Joe gambler congregated. It had tons of traffic and was swimming in ad money from various online sportsbooks and casinos.

Long story short the owner of Bettors World did a bunch of shit to piss off all the posters, including heavily promoting a sportsbook that was a huge scam and didn't like to pay winners, and all those posters migrated to other forums that were starting to appear on the scene. Bettors World never recovered, and now is just a shell of it's former self, while the boards that got the influx of new posters looking for a home are still prospering to this day. Just saying...

GFY is GFY. That's the difference. Dean and I talk on a personal level. He knows my thoughts. He knows how I treat my customers and my business partners (affiliates, hosting companies, photographers, etc).

A lot of people may have a difference of opinion with me. They may attack me for things I post. Some times I post shit just to get a rise out of people. Other times I post being brutally honest and doing myself no favors lol. The one thing you never see is anyone posting about having a negative experience dealing with my company. We treat everyone we deal with with respect and like a true partner. Whether it's models, affiliates, photographers, hosting companies, content providers. Everyone is treated like gold. Dean understands and sees that.

One thing I'm bad at is getting my point across the right way. I don't think tubes stealing content is right. It pisses me off. But I also don't see why this skin is so different from all the other brazzers' skins. I asked this question a number of times with no reply. Why is a brazzers skin ok but a traffic junky skin isn't? I also feel it's been 2+ years since people have been complaining about tubes and nobody has done a thing about it, the only thing people do is post and complain about it.

Dean and I had a rough breakup a few years ago. Neither of us would dispute that. We both needed the breakup and needed it badly. Time went by. Dean did his thing and we did our thing. When we came back together we both were in very different situations. I know on our end our company had matured. We had new systems in place to take on the huge amounts of content we buy. When we started working with Dean a few years ago buying large amounts of content was brand new to us. It exposed a lot of the cracks in our foundation and helped us get better.

So were things rough when we went our own ways? Absolutely. But now things are better than ever. Dean is producing the best content I've ever seen him produce. He is taking it to new levels. He is in my opinion the most complete content producer in the industry (or at the very least in our niche). I don't know anyone who produces better quality photos and videos.

Instead, it is starting to appear that it is the largest players behind many of the largest tunes, and directly and indirectly (think BS dating sites) perpetrating/underwriting much of the content theft.

I feel that there is still time to make things right, and that much of the content theft will eventually be legislated/prosecuted/sued out of business, however I would like to see the big players become a part of the solution instead of continuing to be a part of the problem.

I appreciate your comments. The reality is our industry is and always has been about maximum ROI and looking out for yourself. If you look at the major programs in the past 10 years the majority of them didn't give a shit about the long term viability of the industry. All they cared about was what was in it for themselves today. The companies that usually take a stand and foot the bill are the mid level size companies.

When the tubes exploded a few years ago I decided to sit on the sidelines and see what happened. There were a number of people that approached me about forming a group to go after them and I always told them they could count me in. None of these groups ever got anywhere. I saw what HomeGrown went thru with Acacia. Time, energy, stress, and money spent for the industry's good. Does anyone of you promote HomeGrown now because of what they did for us? I don't think so. I don't have a 100+ staff. I don't have the ability to allocate those resources without suffering negative effects on my business. Effects that my members and affiliates would also suffer from. So at the end of the day I did nothing. I'm not proud of it but that's the decision we made. I would have gladly supported any group that would have made a move. But nothing ever materialized.

btw I wasn't at any meeting because I generally don't go to many shows. I remember hearing of one meeting that was in LA. I wasn't able to get to it. But I did inform people that I knew that were going to keep me posted. Unfortunately I'm not in the loop with those big companys. I don't know anyone at Vivid, RedLight, etc.

GFY is pretty unproductive and worthless now to most but then again so is the Adult industry.

I used to post here many years back and cannot believe how useless this place has become. It's like 90% of the people who post here now are just broke , useless surfers.

I was honestly surprised by the number of people on my ICQ stating they were banning GFY and referring me as well to post on other boards until they take account for supporting tubes etc.

This tube war has really given a great deal to talk about not too mention supporting boards that refuse to accept dollars from tube sites fearing that many of their posters will do the same as here.

Absolutely. There has been nothing normal about this business from day one. I think in my case there I can excuse a certain amount of "Fast Business" as long as it's discreet. But when it becomes clear that outright theft is involved it's a different story.

GFY and it's employees are taking money that is generated by theft and it's all clearly out in the open now. I've had my content stolen by Tube8 previously, and now GFY is taking the money generated by that content. It's not an abstraction any more, it's the same as having someone walk into your house and take the food out of your mouth.

I hope that GFY and the guys who run it will stop enabling this theft and snap out of their greed induced haze and come to their senses soon. Maybe remove the skin and donate the money to charity.
