I'm still on the fence about shit like this. On one hand, you have the parents rights to raise a kid how they see fit. On the other hand, a parent is passively abusing their child(possibly killing them) and the government should step.
The parent should get a visit from a social worker. Kids who are extremely obese should have some intervention early. The medical cost of an obese person spans a lifetime.
I know a fat fuck who is a friend of a friend. The mother fucker eats and drinks until he passes out. He has no job and has several medical problems. He weighs about 350lbs and stands at 5"11'. He is collecting disability because the chair he was sitting in collapse. The chair collapse and he compressed a vertebrae. The fat fuck has been fat since he was a kid. The dad was fat and died. The mom looks like a fat troll with an extremely large lower body.
Although, this friend of a friend fat guy is one extremely cool kat. He is the funniest mother fucker I know. He is awesome to drink and eat with because to him shit doesn't matter.
