A public petition to ban BATTS (POLL)!!

Of course he should be banned,but for some reason admin doesn't give a damn which is weird since i remember they were banning people before which was scamming multiple people.

Unfortunately being a broke, obnoxious, scamming, fuckhead is not against the rules. So while I applaud the effort. I doubt that will get him banned.

Nothing personal - but banning someone from a board because of their implied business ethics is not reason enough. Now if he was to post a link to another board or break other forum rules then yes.

1. No "spamming" of other ADULT Industry boards with the intent of stealing GFY members. Linking to another ADULT board in attempt to steal members from GFY will be grounds for immediate banning. This will be under the discretion of the moderators to determine "spamming." Abuse will not be tolerated.

2. Signature rules. Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of default size and color. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Yes there is a reason this is so big. Also putting your text in a cell and making it look like a button is against the rules. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

3. Anything goes, except do not post people's personal information, or attack peoples personal lives or families, stick to the issues and the bullshit. ANY WHOIS information is considered public information, it is not considered personal information. So don't bitch at us if you put your home address as your personal info on WHOIS.

4. Don't post links to illegal sites. Calling someone a Pedo, Refferring to them as a Pedo, Stating they promote Pedo, posting of Pedo links, and Death Threats are now grounds for immediate banning.

5) Posting images of death, dismemberment, or animal cruelty will not be permitted and will be removed.

6) To cut down on the number of Fake Nicks and Surfers. You must register for GFY with a non-free email account. Yahoo, Gmail, live, etc registered accounts will no longer be validated.

Fansign Rules

Due to the large volume of Fansign threads, and the spam level abuse of some, here are the fansign rules at GFY.

1. Your 'announcement' thread has to have at least one fansign in the first post. The fansign must be for one of the big posters or moderators on GFY.

2. Your fansigns must be completed in no less than three days, and you must do at least 20 of the first posters to the thread.

3. The cannot be computer generated or simple text that could have been computer generated. That is pure spam. They need to have texture and variation to them, in other words, it has to be totally obvious to anyone that they are hand made.

4. There cannot be any conditions to making a sign, such as you must signup for an affiliate program.

If you do not like the rules, don’t do fansigns and leave it up to the girls who really want the publicity.

From what I've gathered, it's not really an issue of implied business ethics, it's just downright theft. There is a difference in "I don't like how this guy does business" and "this guy is actively stealing from members". One has some grey area while the other doesn't.

I also don't see why a community shouldn't ban those who target them. If there was someone at a convention who was pickpocketing attendees, you certainly wouldn't blame the organizers for kicking him out. So why wouldn't a webmaster board kick out a member who is blatantly using their member base to scam others?
