I lived there for over a year in a town called Ceiba, which is less than an hour from San Juan....It's 85 degrees every day and if you want to get some ass, fuck some white girls on the west coast...
The west coast of PR is BEAUTIFUL. Here's where I posted a ton of pics from when I was there plus had a podcast about it. It might be informative to you.

what city would you recommend to live in if you like a younger professional crowd, or even alot of outdoors.
im planning on moving to somewhere hot for a couple months and PR is high on the list.Comment

Then you want to live in the San Juan area....After being bored in Ceiba, I moved to San Juan for some action...Too bad I didn't get to stay long as it was related to courts and kids custody and shit.i will have a look, im not always totally into white chicks, prefer colored ones but hey i love all women honestly.

You want to live in the Isla Verde area...I lived right on the strip (not beach side) in a gated condo joint with the largest pool in San Juan. You can walk to all of the high end night clubs and restaurants on the strip or you can just hop in a cab and go to Old San Juan where you will meet plenty of young professionals....
Here's where I was living for like a month.....They have a tractor with a big rake on it to keep the sand nice...You can spend a lazy day yapping it up with tourists while sipping on a Mojito....Puerto Rican pussy is hard to get and that's a whole nother story....

i've was there for a couple of weeks around 4 years ago. meh, it's definitely a little too touristy for my taste. of course it always depends on what you are looking for... southern Thailand, all of Laos, and parts of Cambodia (sihanoukville rocks http://www.sihanoukville-cambodia.com/ ) are far, far better imho.we'll miss you our friend. The best part of PR is the driving. People are nuts. You can just pull up on the sidewalk and park there.
Just go to San Juan. It's a small island. You can get anywhere. We drove all the way to the southern shore in - I think it was 5 hours? Wherever the big Hilton resort is on the southern shore but I wouldn't stay there. Small town best I remember.
I lived in miami at the time. Similar weather.

If you know where to go.. You'll have a blast, if not no.
But.. weather is alright (as long as you are away from San Juan) visit the eastern southern part of the Puerto Rico (I was born there). I recommend:
San Juan for the city.
Guavate for the food (the whole area is just non stop amazing food)
Ponce I believe for the malls and all that.. for the beaches you'd have to ask someone I haven't gone in a while so I don't know whats poppin.:
Expect hot Puerto Rican woman with great asses, mosquitos.. and of course
The Titties of Cayey lmao.
