2 per day is a okay, 100 per day too much.. but really, it depends on the age/authority of your site - plenty of factors involved.

How many backlinks a day do you think Youtube generates, or twitter. Its completely dependent on the site and the sites structure, age and trust, and how it consistently performs or gains popularity.

Don't you think its more like a percentage of existing backlinks before "penalized", than actual numbers? I don't think a website with 10.000 established backlinks would get the same "penalty" like a new website, if 50-100 links were posted in one day.

On a new site it is easy to add too many but I can't give you a number because I have got inconsistent results. On an old site you need to be consistent and ramp up from your current rate gently.

The original number doesn't matter. If you get 1000 the first day. You better keep getting bigger numbers if u want to stick around.

It's all relevant. If that makes sense.

Dumpsites are worthless. You will not help yourself by adding tons of worthless links to your site, in fact it will do quite the opposite.

I would say you're totally wasting your time getting those links.

You rarely get penalised (otherwise you could easily use that as a way to mess up a competitor's ranking), the links are just seen as worthless and ignored.

You'd be better off getting proper inbounds from related sites, spend the time to do it properly. Takes a lot longer, but you will get far better results.
