You need to provide us with your vision. The site, so we can look at the scheme. All infos you need on the landing page. An example site if there is anything different from the norm that you want to achieve.

can someone show me some good and effective samples of 1 page landing pages, so i have a clue on what they need to have...

they need to offer surfers some free content and provide links to sponsored sites

those samples are not browser friendly, they are made with heavy pieces of graphics. landing pages should not be looked like a big page of graphics.
