People that are always "changing" are weak personality types:

I dont have a need to "change" anything in my life and i never have. i have always been happy with who i am and what i have around me.

people who feel like the need to always be changing or adding things into their life will never be happy. these types of people are always looking for an external change rather then an internal change to try to make themselves happy.

I couldn't disagree more... I am always changing, constantly, and I have a very strong personality. The fact that I constantly change is PART of my personality.

I'm neither seeking to find who I am nor trying to be something I'm not.

I am who I am and most people never forget me...

I should also add that I do seek internal change. I'm a Taoist so personal progression hinges on that very fact. I would argue that NOT changing begs the question... what have YOU achieved if you're still the same after all these years?

I may be wrong, but I don't necessarily think he's talking about that sort of thing.

I think he means the people who sort of... they're so bored that they think of things to do and ways to be solely to do it or to please others, not because it feels right or their experiences have led them there.

It does seem to be more common in females, but I have met guys who have changed their entire personality/look/interests for a girl or to have a "niche" of their own to make themselves feel special.

If that makes sense. Natural change/growth is a part of life, but forced change just means you're unsatisfied or insecure, IMO.

thank you, it feels good when people actually have a brain around here.

i knew this one girl who would always be cutting her hair, coloring her hair, changing styles, always in the mall getting new clothes, and is always on a fad diet.

she is so mixed up with her life i feel sorry for her.

people that feel the need to always be changing are weak people. it is as simple as that. i am confident with myself and i dont need changes to feel like a better person because i already know i am.
