The stunt worked out well for Viacom and NBC. It was obviously rehearsed by Kanye, Taylor, and Beyonce. Taylor performed right afterward and didn't seem even mildly upset or like her mascara was smeared one bit and she came on stage fast enough at the end that she clearly knew Beyonce was going to supposedly cede her time to her.

Lady Gaga was effing awesome though. I love that she is not afraid to look like she is trying and had at least four different wild outfits for the occasion. Pink on the trapeze was kinda neat too.
