    How to make images less orange?

    I have a couple pictures that have a very strong orange tint. How do I soften them up a little bit and bring out more whiteness?

          Got photoshop? Ctrl-M, select the red channel, then click around the middle and drag diagonally south-east. Select the blue channel, click in the middle and give it a nudge diagonally north-west. That should get you started. HTH
