ive never pick a lock break the window is instant better done at night and wrap your fist with a towel it cuts down on the sound hahaha

once had to pick the lock on a desk drawer that someone lost the key to ..was pretty easy, used a paper clip.
I also used 2 paper clips to pick the lock on my front door once..took like 2 hrs tho.

and one time at like 2 am coming home from a club I had to break into my apt with a credit card slipped between the lock and jamb..messed up the card but only took like 2 minutes.

when I was kid we had this huge safe that nobody knew the combo to...I used to sit in front of it on quiet saturdays trying to pick that combo lock but never got it...

I'm half decent at it. Can pick open all the locks in my house, and most padlocks that I've bought to play with. Takes me 5-10 minutes, but it can be done.

small padlocks and bike chains are easy. Have you seen the thing the locksmith uses when you lock yourself out? Takes 2 seconds to break nearly any door lock. Don't you feel safe?
