I dont think so. The HDMI function in play (VTR) mode outputs to TV and HDMI in record mode allows uncompressed capture using an Intensity Pro card from BlackMagic or the like. Sorry its not what you wanted to hear.

Yes. I shoot my daughter with it and have had it hooked to my 73 inch via mini HMI to regular HMI. Works great.

I got the Vixia HFS10. It is a pretty badass camera.

shoot and hooked up to output on TV at the same time through HDMI? Word on the Canon forums was it does not work simultaneously because the HDMI serve as an out only from Play mode.

This is what I am trying to do

I have a Intensity Pro card from BlackMagic and want to capture content from the camera while recording content in to the built id storage of the camera.

What is the most used Canon Forum ? the company web site sucks
