New Jack from the original ECW. As a matter of fact he had a pretty big roll in the "Beyond The Mat" documentary. We were quite the fucking odd couple as roommates...he was a bald black dude that played a gang member character (although he was very different in real life) and I was a tall long haired tattooed guy that ran porn stores, but he is a great guy and we had a lot of fun...

Have you read any of the books about pro wresting? I haven't and was curious if they are worth the time. I haven't watched it since I was about 15 and that was when Hogan and The Macho Man and Jake The Snake were big, but it is an intriguing business and the people that do it for a living and their lives are often fascinating.

I've read quite a few, but far and away the best one was Mick Foley's first book and autobiography, Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks. If you don't know Mick Foley he is most famous for playing the characters Cactus Jack and Mankind. He is such an unconventional wrestling star, and he took such an odd path to get to the top, that his book is really hard to put down, not to mention he wrote it himself (no ghostwriter) and it is almost 600 pages. Trust me, if you get a chance you should read it, and you won't be disappointed...

i loved it...it makes you want to slit your wrists...but great art should make you feel something...it accomplishes that by far

No shit! I used to love watching New Jack and Kronos when they formed The Gangstanators...too bad about the Kulas Mass Transit incident...when I saw the staple gun in The Wrestler, I immediately thought of New Jack...
