that's my point, who knows who will or can step up. plax already stepped up, that was a given. there are no guarantees with that wr set, that's part of what makes football so exciting.

not to mention, the o line, while crazy solid with starters, only needs an injury or 2 to fall apart. i do think they have a solid enough running game to allow the wide outs a lot of opportunities.

Can't believe the season isn't on all that time.

We only get under a 2 month break from our football here (ok soccer). 6 months or so would kill me...

American football isn't all the time because it's the most demanding and most physical team sport in the world. By the end of the season, half the players on your roster are injured. Also, it is a cold weather game.

But I think that having football only 6 months a year is also the reason why it is the most popular sport in the US. It really makes you anxious for the season to start.
