Is it worth changing the old for the new ???

hrmm .. it is quicker on the net ..... the 3.0 update made up tons of the changes in the old phone .... the video is decent .. actually way better than I thought it would .. the camera is a 3.0MP .. but still no settings for brightness or color correction ..
larger memory .. 32GB .. and .. thats about it .. Oh compass .. (ghey) .. I only up graded because the wife wanted my 16GB 3G ..

I need quicker on the net, I use it to moderate my forums when I am not behind my pc so just there it is much worth it.

I have 3G and can't upgrade to 3gs until next August but to upgrade from the 1st generation to 3Gs, well worth it yes.

Maybe not right now, but as the apps start taking advantage of the faster hardware the old iphones will feel more and more slow over time

I traded in my 3G for a 3GS the day the 3GS came out and I can tell you the number one difference for me is the speed of the phone itself. The speed that you can open and close apps is vastly different.

I would have to say that I don't think webpages download any faster though. However, you can pull up multiple sites and switch between them quite a bit faster.

If I were you, I would make the switch, jailbreak your old phone, and sell it on ebay for $400.
