EDIT: Yep, got an old machine that does nothing all day but run Statsremote, monitor set back and to the side of a second desk.

Once a week or so. Most sponsors email me when I make a sale anyway. It's a time waister checking stats every day. I got better things to work on then watch the sales come in.

I check most stats maybe once a week. New programs I check maybe every 2 days just to see how it is starting off. Would prob check them more if didn't have to go to all the sites.

You should try vmware. You can run windows on top of the mac os. I'm on a mac too, and bought it just so I can run StatsRemote. I just used an old xp license I had. But I think SR even has a mac beta going right now too. Might want to check out.

I check my statsremote about every 5 minutes, even though I know it only updates every 15.

BTW the OSX beta should work fine, I've been using the Linux beta for over a year and a half with no problems. Before that I ran vmware all day just for statsremote

I have Nifty Stats running a Windows XP laptop (old crappy thing) in the corner. I have it set to play cashtil.wav every time I make money. The sound fills the house, girlfriend walks in and says 'you made money, I heard it'

Therapy for what?

I like knowing what my traffic is doing and how much money I've made today. I don't have the luxury of a set hourly rate, steady paycheck twice a month, and a pension when I turn 65.

i must say about once a week. anything more often just seems almost crazy. i know things typically average out and watching every 15 minutes would just fuck with someones head.

now i do think stats are important, stats to me are not just sales. those i could care the smallest about as again things average out. what i check stats wise is where things are going wrong. i am checking bounce rates and things along those lines. shit that may actually help me make more money. watching money come in does not do that.
