so if a show was actively marketed to surfers...

In an effort to recruit fresh ideas and perspective to the industry, would you sign on as a sponsor? Wouldn't you like to be a factor in their decision to start a career in this industry. What if all sponsorship packages were capped at 10k with equal exposure for all sponsors. Are you interested?

Um, I believe they already have a show along similar grounds.

Name escapes me, but I wanna say it is the Adult Expo, and it has the various porn companies, porn stars, toy makers and so forth all in one place.

I think it's held New York, Los Angeles, and Vegas. Big turn out of fans, surfers, consumers.

this is true but no surfer is going to want to go to a porn convention unless it includes pornstars like stated below.. and then you aren't really going to get surfer feedback cause the surfers are just there for the pornstars

why not have a tube show..more surfers know about their favorite tube site than actual website..affiliates are fading faster than a coffee stain getting soaked up by shamwow

Unfortunately true. I went to check one of my TGP submits, and past biggest traffic sources. They have cut their accepted/submits page in half. I e-mail the dude and ask him wtf!?!

He says he has had to change up his page because he is getting less submits period. Regardless of quality. He only updates once a week and barely has enough quality submits to do 50 (2009)-100 (2007) galleries for the update.

A lot of ex-McAffiliates leaving the industry.

look out the window, there is a huge shift in the game...the surfers like to see real bitches...but I doubt they will pay to see these hoes anymore..(THE PAST: porn was big and sexy, girls were stars, money flowed like wine)
TODAY: Porn is fucking free, these hoes look like real HOES now..not stars
The biggest companies in the game are looking at the bottom line and it ain't lookin' so good..they might be holding their own..but the big guys in this game/the smart guys in this game are doing something they haven't ever done before..SAVING MONEY..

ok another comment to your statement

if the current "surfer" is the future webmaster...look at that, from past to present..

PAST: Surfer pays for site, looks at how to become webmaster so he can make other surfers PAY for site

TODAY: surfer jacks dick for free on tube site..he wonders " how in the fuck can I become webmaster" all shit is free, I can't understand how to make money.. oh well...i'll keep jacking off and continue going to school.

Getting into porn in 2010 is the same as being in a Garage Band, except being in a band you get free pussy on your dick.. I just picked up guitar lessons
