Apparently...out of the thirty or so "Czars" the President has employed...at least a few more are radicals/nuts. So there may be more forced to resign before the dust settles.

There have been previous Presidents have "Czars" but not all and only a hand full at most...where as the current President has thirty or so.

I would like to know what fund is paying the salaries of these "Czars". I have never known of a special fund a President has to personally hire people to work for him.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

I'm not totally sure, but I think that special fund is called "China".

some of y'all are talking like this guy was a player on the whitehouse cabinet team.

he was a mid-level advisor, nothing more.

A mid level adviser (not ever part of the cabinet team)...with a reported 30 billion dollars to spend as he saw fit...in the green jobs/projects area...and the ear of the President.

my point still stands, he was a mid-level advisor for green jobs. also, he didn't have carte blanche to spend 30b.

i never found him to be a radical in the slightest. i'm not a fan of his though and certainly not impressed with the new president.

He was a member of several radical groups...over the years...in addition to being an avowed communist...has demonstrated that he is a racist...is a 911 truther/nut...if that isn't being a radical in your opinion...it definitely is in my opinion.

that's not accurate, based on what i've read of his writings and about him.

he is not an avowed communist and certainly not a truther, he simply signed a clipboard document that was asking for more investigation into the possibility the government was involed in 9/11 (which was why he was shitcanned by the whitehouse before the press really made something of it since the anniversary is upcoming.

I think I recall seeing him on video stating that he is an avowed communist...or was at the time. People do change their politics sometimes...but his entire history is that of being a radical and racistl...which cannot be denied as he belonged to several radical groups and I think was a founder of one or more.

i see what you are saying and while i understand how his history can be viewed that way, i always thought of him as more of a free-thinker, which i find to be a good thing.

i find the fact that he was fired by the admin to be more revealing about the obama adminstration and less about jones.

I find the fact that he was hired to be more revealing about the President than the fact that he was "forced" to resign...but I really do not know how much the President knew about his history...but I do feel that he should have known...and should know the history of his advisers.

"I am resigning my post at the Council on Environmental Quality, effective today.

On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.

I have been inundated with calls - from across the political spectrum - urging me to "stay and fight."

But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.

It has been a great honor to serve my country and my President in this capacity. I thank everyone who has offered support and encouragement. I am proud to have been able to make a contribution to the clean energy future. I will continue to do so, in the months and years ahead."

He was one of the crowd and their agenda (which he was a part of) will carry on without him. Just a small fish in a sea of sharks.

I don't want to miss Glen Beck's show today to see how much gloating he does over the resignation. He has several others that he has been working on so it will also be interesting to see if he steps up the pressure on them...since his success with Van Jones.

I was cracking up last night when some chick politician said something to the effect of, it is unfair that in today's age it is so easy to dig up one's past skeletons to be used against them.

As in, politician says something stupid and it is up on YouTube forever.
