ya adultdesign.com outsources for blog designs, the guy who does them charges $300 for a design if you contact him directly, through adultdesign.com its $2500+

they even quoted me $800 for a header for a blog.

Insane prices.

If the restaurant is in the states and the waiter in india, then yes. I think people just felt decieved. To think that someone is doing your design when its just another outsourcer.

Congrats to the buyer. It really amazes me that these threads never actually contain any of my clients, but rather people who think they know what happens with my business even though I’ve never spoken with them once. My portfolio clearly states that “Zuzana Media, a North Carolina Inc. was founded in the winter of 2004. Starting as a small company, Zuzana Designs, has evolved into a design force of over 20 designers/developers worldwide”. I don’t claim to do all the work personally. My company and brand has gotten much too large to handle it all alone, despite my 14 hour per day/7 days per week designing schedule. However, I also don’t have a single employee that lives in India. I have never once used an outsourcing company. I don’t have a single employee that hasn’t worked with me for at least a year. Several are ex-employees of other high profile design firms who now work exclusively with and for Zuzana Designs. Every single project comes through me and I personally quote and discuss every project that comes through Zuzana Designs whether by icq, email or telephone. My clients are in contact with my programmers as well to ensure complete communication and satisfaction from concept to delivery. I have a full system in place for client management that every client in the past 2 years has been amazed with and that’s just part of the reason I keep customers coming back project after project. I offer changes to clients free of charge until they are 100% satisfied. I find it quite odd that someone can “claim” they have friends trying to get refunds, yet you don’t see those people in these threads themselves. It’s because they don’t exist, and the same designers trying to tarnish my name and business really do nothing but bring more attention to my name and company, and these threads only flood my email with people who visit my portfolio due to this attention. If you spent as much time creating your own brand and getting clients as you do trying to harm my name, you might have people pissed off at your success as well. This will be the only time I post in this thread since the subject of it is quite silly and adolescent to begin with. To all of my clients, I look forward to all future work we will do together and I hope you’re having a great Labor Day weekend :)

Sarah did us a great design, all her work too :) Competitively priced, Sarah also worked on multiple revisions (me being picky) with no issues at all.

Sarah delivered the project before the agreed deadline and even recently emailed me some galleries she did for me about 2 years ago (I had lost them).

I dont keep 4 year old emails, I guess that means it never happend then. I guess all the toby crap never happend either and we were never stiffed on the refunds. I guess the posts about it on the NP forum back then wasent real either.

I'm not exactly a "bro-gina" (or "bro-penis") guy. As a matter of fact, not far ago she jumped on a thread by an idiot WHO OWES ME MONEY AND CLAIMED THAT HE DIDN'T PAY BECAUSE I WANTED ACCESS TO A DATABASE (to install a script!!!!!) and she tried to stir mud at a time many people knew I was seriously ill and I'd probably not seeing it (fortunately several people let me know what was going on), so I'm not exactly her fan . It's just that, objectively, I don't get this. I know Voodoo likes to troll for fun, and I find it quite amusing, but the other people joining the bandwagon... well, guess they find it funny as well

if you do a search, you will NEVER see me saying anything bad about a designer for ethical reasons. And btw I don't call racism or whatever, I'm not in any "bro-wagon", I don't suck cock for a living, I don't brown nose anyone. I'm pretty grown up to know what GFY is about: around 2/3% business and 97/98% of teenager crap. I've made my choice to focus on business, I'm not a teenager since at least a couple decades ago.

One last thing: you're disrespecting her clients, do you think they're all idiots or something? don't you think they're pretty informed about the outsourcing thing and what they want for their sites and how much to pay? In the last case, if they choose her because "she looks hot"... what do you care? is that your money? in any case, it's their client's loss, so this is what I don't get, why so many people likes to put their noses in any other people's business, it's like GFY National Sport

I don't get it. Voodoo, If you acquired this domain and you knew Zuzana could really use it why wouldn't you just email her and sell it to her directly? Or if you knew it was available and unregistered or expired, why not let her know that this domain was available so that she could have purchased it herself?

Commenting on the outsourcing remark someone else made: We haven't done business with Zuzana (YET!) but I think her designs are fantastic. And who cares if she employs other designers? It's her company and I'm sure she sets the standards to those employees or outsourced subcontractors and makes sure that the quality of work is exactly what she wants, and what her customers expect.

I think it's pretty well known (by owners & programs anyways) that almost all of the top design firms here rely on "out of country" designers.

Almost none of them do business with anyone in India because they lack a certain level of creativity.

Most of the design firms employ people from:
Phillipines, Eastern Europe, South East Asia, South America & Canada.

And I am talking the TOP design firms.

Of course you can go directly to these designers as MOST if not ALL of them moonlight/or end up setting up their own studio's.

When it comes down to it, you are essentially paying the owners of these design firms to be project managers. If you are not a project manager yourself (and cannot bridge the language barrier), it's a good idea to use these firms. :2 cents:

I don't know whats going on with all of this but that was a funny sentence.

I have done business with Sarah more than once, and in every instance she has gone above and beyond the call of duty in creativity, on time deliverables, and exceedingly superior customer service.

That said, from my perspective, I'm suspect of anyone who questions her business ethic. Of course, I'm not everyone, but all should know that Zuzana Designs has done GREAT work for me, and has not yet given me any reason to be less than 100% satisfied with their work.

Your designs are crap, pissed my money against the wall with your designs.
