    These 4 entries came from an open nomination in another thread where we asked people to post sites that have the most potential and will benefit the most from a total makeover.

I dont personally know ANYONE on GFY nor have I bitched or moaned. What I said is if someone says " My vote goes to Aria " then she should get the vote. If they said my vote goes to lazerbunny they should get the vote. Its pretty simple.
                                                      At this point, I dont really care.. I thought this would be fun and cool.

                                                                          It saddens me greatly that what started as a fun FREE contest seems to have so many people upset. What seems to be getting lost here is that the contestants are out nothing if they don't win. If you don't win this contest, you aren't out a single thing and you'll go on having the same site you've had. I'm amazed that I have gotten iqc's about how upset some people are or how we are voting the wrong way or how this contest is a joke. It's almost as everyone thinks they are owed this design and CMS and that we are somehow taking it away from. That is not the case and the chance to win something is better than not having a chance at all.

                                                                          The rules were very specific. They were made bold and a different color that each person who voted needed to give a reason why. We didn't want everyone to just hit up their friends on icq for a vote and wanted everyone to have a fair chance of winning. Since several people privately and publically complained about that system, we made it a public vote. Let the contest run itself and then no one has a reason to complain about it.

                                                                          To those of you who appreciate the chance to get completely free work, at no loss to you at all, I wish you lots of luck and I can't wait to work the winner of the vote ending next Wednesday.

                                                                                                          Well said. I was surprised that the complaining continued in this poll thread even after we abandoned the rules to accommodate those who complained.

                                                                                                          What's happened here feels like some kid pissed in the punch bowl at my party.

                                                                                                          I guess a few people got so caught up with the idea of free stuff that they felt entitled and forgot that this contest isn't about them, it's about Elevated X and Zuzana Designs announcing a CMS and design package partnership and trying to do something fun and offer someone a free site overhaul.

                                                                                                          Neither of us had to offer anything free. We could have just announced the deals and been done with it but I think some people get what we wanted to do and that some of the people who entered really do appreciate the chance to get $2500 worth of free services and have a brand new site as a result.

                                                                                                          I hope at this point everyone can let the votes decide the outcome just as everyone said they wanted in the other thread and that will be the end of it. We're also looking forward to working with the winner to get them rolling with our CMS

                                                                                                                                              I'm placing my vote for Aria, not only because she's always been super sweet and friendly, but also because so many people know of her and the gorgeous work she does. A slick new tour from Zuzana Designs would be great because I know so many people are into Aria already. It would have to be a hit, sales wise. So, on name recognition, depth of great content, positive reputation, and potential for member retention, Aria just crushes. I also think Zuzana gets what Aria is about and would make a killer tour.

                                                                                                                                                  - Member interactivity in the form of ratings, favorites, polls, comments and private messaging

                                                                                                                                                  For most of the sites involved this change will be massive. A few of the nominated sites won't be recognizable after the changeover.

                                                                                                                                                  Personally I'd love to see the end result of an overhaul of the aria and lazerbunny sites. Aria has great content and tons of it. Lazerbunny has content that's fresh and some pretty hot stuff. An overhaul of cfnm and toeaction wouldn't be as dramatic but would make them 2 of the hottest sites in their niche and those sites probably have the most selling potential within their own niche.

                                                                                                                                                  With all sites having exclusive content it's hard to say. It may really come down to who has the marketing abilities to take advantage of this and get the most out of their new site.

                                                                                                                                                                                              You should have gotten your site in the contest a few weeks ago. The site has a nice layout and gets you right to that join. I'm sure it converts well with the right traffic. Good luck getting more traffic
