I've been a porn customer on several occasions from the rabbitsreviews. I can see why they would convert well from a customer's perspective.
I read on the site that sites could simply submit for review. Can you explain more here about how it all works, and is there also paid advertising and how much does that cost?

From my experience, review sites have no clue what converts and makes money. No offence though, I like your site, Doug.

that could be true, but I don't think this site claimed to say what site was the best moneymaker. It does have a 'what is best' flavor, but as a user they can ignore that aspect, and focus on what is important to them. Quality of videos or pictures, exclusivity etc.
I've signed up for a few sites that looked like they captured some video on a usb device from their vhs player from some garage sale porn collection. and they only got around to doing a dozen of those
at least sites like this help research that before signing up. i think the only area i might differ with them is the extra points for 'bonus' material. a single good site is better than one with free access to other poor sites.

Everything starts with the submission. Once that comes in we add it to a writers queue. When it comes up for them, they need to keep a number of things in mind. First and foremost is the criteria. All sites are rated based on certain aspects that we think are important. You can see that here.

After that, they try and take into account, where they can, the differences between the niches. They need to compare every site to every other, but also pay close attention to the sites in the niche that they will be reviewed with. Each of our reviewers have to have a certain level of experience before they're handed a full review. The hope is that the experience will give a skilled eye to provide a worthwhile review. I'll be the first to say, though, that this isn't always easy.

After that, it goes to graphics and then off to editing. Thirty days or so later the review goes live.

And that's how a submission becomes a review!

As for advertising, we don't sell any on Rabbits but we do have other surfer and webmaster traffic we sell. Hit me up is you have any interest. ;)

Donteattuna hits it on the head. This post isn't necessarily about which sites make the most cash.

Having said that, having been around since 2003 and having listed close to 7,000 sites, I can assure you that we know exactly what converts and makes money.
