    "To get back these voyeurs and protect children from hardcore porn is a noble task. I believe the industry will have to pursue an Act of Congress. The government of the United States should be lobbied by the adult industry, retailers included, to make a Childrens Internet Protection Act. After such an act is enacted the United Nations should be approached to make it illegal for free hardcore porn to be seen by anyone who does not pay for it. "

    Isn't that called extortion? I may be relatively new to this industry but seriously, can anyone provide some background on Sandy?

      believe me - without free porn, just as many people will seek porn out on the Internet, and many more will pay if there is no free alternative, its not like sex is a fad - it can be milked much like any renewable resource - long term

          Her "style" is incredibly short sighted if you see the entire letter she wrote. It seems almost all of the brick and mortar stores are feeling the pinch even harder and wonder why their customers do not buy DVDs anymore. Its more the online content available cheaper than the $60 DVD at some stores. What would you buy? That or a membership with more bang for your buck?

              i agree that there is no need to buy (or rent) DVDs as the internet can provide more product for the same, or less, money

              but similarily, there is no need to pay for it on the internet either, except for very defined niches - and even then only if you need 'this weeks release' today.

              but I shall change my opinion ('cause, as you say, I haven't seen the whole letter) to...

                  I think what I have more of a problem with is Sandy cloaking the desire to protect the children from free hardcore content per the claim that it creates bad social and psychological behavior. Can porn be any more damaging to a 16 year old over an 18 year old or even a 21 year old? Its funny because Sandy claims to have asked people on the golf course (18-30) if they buy dvds and they said no they get it for free on the net so why buy.

                  If Sandy really thinks Congress is going to step up and protect adult content, that is definitely off the deep end especially expecting the United Nations to enforce laws of paying for "FREE" porn. If the US cannot get the economy fixed and the UN cannot stop human rights violations, how in the fuck does Sandy expect them to stop people from getting free porn?

                          Sandy has watched the internet eat his business alive- however he never really had much of a huge business anyway, and used to cry that everyone owed him money. It was funny cause most people I'd talk to about him would tell me he owed THEM money.
