Most of you won't be fans, but I thought this ended up being a pretty solid film. You can see that it falls a bit short of what the writer Ellis was trying for, but it's made up for with solid acting from Billy Bob Thornton, Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger and others. Amber Heard in numerous gratuitous sex scenes doesn't hurt my eyes either.

Anyone else bothered to check this one out yet? What did you think ?

Saw it last night.Quite an experience,left me standing for a while in my sofa after it ended...

I loved the book. Ellis is a great writer and I have been looking forward to the movie. I have it in my Netflix queue, but haven't seen it yet.
