I consider myself pretty decent looking and have been pursued by guys when I was dating someone else, and I've never cheated nor do I plan to do so. I don't understand the logic: if you're tired enough of your partner that you want to cheat, the relationship is either over or needs heavy, heavy work.

It's one thing to be attracted to other people, that's normal, and only the most insecure, possessive partners would call simple attraction cheating - it's another thing entirely to put those feelings into action and betray your partner. That, to me, indicates that you don't care very much for your partner's feelings and loyalty.

As for your theory - that reads to me like you're just trying to justify to yourself why cheating is okay, because "everyone would do it if they weren't ugly or weird!".... but in reality, plenty of normal, attractive people don't cheat. Some people have legitimate, healthy relationships that satisfy them, and/or moral codes that they don't violate, regardless of how they look.
