Other places to post a site for sale?

Are there any other sites/forums where you can put your site up for sale?

Adult and/or mainstream

Here's the site I'm selling: https://gfy.com/sell-and-buy-forum/924162-wts-amateur-exgf-tube-4-5k-month-rev.html

I think you misunderstood the 40k part... 40k is the minimum I'd consider... but I'm still looking to get a good amount higher than that and may not accept 40k if that's all I can get

And I've had some GFY inquires I just want to try other options as well

IMHO, GFY is where you'll get the deal done.

I'd suggest bumping the sale thread a few times, at differing times of day, over the next couple of weeks.

Assuming the traffic and income is real, you will get some serious prospects.

In regards to pricing, unfortunately, this is a buyers market, so you may need to go less on the price.

IMHO, even in this lousy market,, upwards of $55K would be reasonable assuming the net revenue has been pretty steady for at least the past 6 months. From the stats, it appears that may not be the case ... if so, then even $40K may be pushing it.

Ultimately, it's worth whatever someone else is willing to pay...

If the domain itself is nice and/or the content is a niche that's got much growth potential, that could greatly bump up the price a motivated buyer is willing to pay.

Bottom line, imho, is you listed it in the right place and provided good stats - just bump the thread / shop it around privately and you'll get it sold.

Thanks for the insight

The revenue has been steadily climbing since the site first opened a year ago

The net 6 months ago was March $3,463.83
April 5 months ago: $3,726.83
May 4: $3,831.96
June 3: $3,939.19

I look at this as a good thing, as opposed to a site that's on the decline, this site has continued rising and hasn't yet reached it's peak

hmm... looking over the increase in sales, it might not be such a good idea to sell the site after all

How much do you pay for hosting? -and if it's a colo, how much hardware is involved?

And based on what you wrote in your sales thread, it appears labor (for content and basic upkeep) costs is going to be around $500 per month going forward.

Subtract out labor (admittedly, some buyers won't really care much about that cost if they already have a decent size staff in place) and more importantly, monthly hosting / bandwidth / maintenance costs (software updates, DB troubleshooting, website security, etc), which can be considerable for a dynamic user submitted content site.

The net revenue after all of that stuff is subtracted out is the true net number that most buyers will use in determining its value.

Your best bet is what other have said, bump the thread a few times at different
periods of the day to get some better exposure.

Good luck hey.
