And for the first time I can remember, I don't feel like celebrating my birthday with a big party. I usually have a lot of friends over and we have a great time. We start in the morning and go on well into the afternoon. But I don't know, this year I'm not in the mood. Is this the end of birthday parties for me? For you guys over 30, did the same thing happen to any of you?

nah, the 30's are pretty much the same as the 20's... time goes fast though, think how fast 20 to 30 went and then multiply that speed by 2 for how fast the next ten years will go by

Happy Birthday! Aug 30th is my birthday too. Regarding a birthday party we throw one every year with friends and familly. We start about noon and usually ends about 2 or 3 in morning. I look forward in seeing my friends and family every year. When you get as old as I am you cherish the moments, seeing all your friends and family having a good time. We have BBQ, a bomb fire, play horse shoes, play baggo and play cards. It's a Great Time. Love it.
