Just installed Snow Leopard in the last hour on an IMac and I think my eyes are deceiving me....
The IMac monitor always seemed a little bright and lacking in contrast..... but I think the Snow Leopard upgrade has corrected this. WOW!! :D I could be wrong.... |
I feel genuine pity every time I see someone at a coffee shop boot XP on their cheap and nasty Dell.

Lol @ everyone who paid for a SERVICE PACK!!!!!!!!

I'll be picking it up this next week, can't wait.

Definitely a lot faster than Leopard. Though I have experienced higher CPU loads (70%) when playing back Flash. SL will really start to shine when authors write their apps to take advantage of 64bit. I only wish Final Cut Studio did that now.

Quit with the fucking pissing already. Like OSX? Use it. Like Windows? Use it.
By everything that fucking matters in this world, shut the fuck up already about one OS being better than the other. |
Loving the update after dealing with some of the kinks. Working smooth in 64bit.

overall i'm very impressed. gained by 10GB in HD space, it's much quicker, and overall speed of the OS is amazing. Great job by apple...
Windows from 95, 98, ME, XP, Vista, and 7 all required a price to upgrade. But going from one to the next NEVER cost anything under 100. Granted the differences were somewhat subtle. I'm a mac and pc user but the mac has drawed me more and more over the time. |
