We bought a lot of property in Phuket, Thailand and a little in Sri Lanka after the Tsunami. Only had to hold on to the Thai property for a year and made a killing with it. Sri Lanka we still have because of the war, but since that just ended we hope to move that within the next 2 years.
I don't know the land rules in Haiti, but even after this clean up, Haiti will still be fucked. Unless you can get a prime location, I would pass. Even then, the country is politically unstable.Comment
