WARNING: Bragging Thread!
thought be a chill weekend but alas...
Ended up seeing local band Venice on Thursday on Santa Monica Pier front row which rocked...
then on Saturday afternoon found out Kings of Leon playing that night and it was sold out.
I ended up scoring tickets but also backstage passes, all access friends and family wristbands and pre and post party passes. I took one of my assistants who loves them and he is awesome too.
somehow we ended up in the private club then dancing in the VIP area on the floor next to Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Orlando Bloom, Leanne Rhymes (who was heavily making out with some dude not her boyfriend) Jared Leto (whom my asst told me I was literally dancing my ass off in his face since he was sitting down right behind me-LOL) and some other celebs in the mix--I was so busy jamming to KOL that I didn't know I danced right between Justin and Jessica - ha!
then on to sunset junction street fair yesterday where amazing bands were playing 'Orgone' amazing jazz/blues/soul/reggae total mix with outstanding congas/bongos...awesome...
but found out Arrested Development was playing at night so we stayed the entire time and not only did we get front row - my daughter ended up getting put on stage with them where she proceeded to keep dancing to the beat while her proud Mama was doing the same front row!
Last month she was front row at The Ramones.
Yes, it was another Lori Story Music adventure.
I am still looking back going 'did we really hook all that up in real time?' LOL YEP
ps-nope didn't get pics of KOL night. It was about feeling the music. AD concert, yep a few pics I can post sans kid
