One...a former school mate that apparently got into some kind of drug deal. He was not only murdered but was dismembered and dispersed...and if I remember correctly the entirety of his members were never found.

I know of one. It was someone I went to high school with and hadn't seen since we graduate in 1989. About five years ago I was watching the news and saw that a guy was stabbed in a parking lot after having an argument with someone. The name was familiar. A few days later when there was more information I read about him and saw it was the same guy I went to school with.

The first person was a 17 year old kid on my block who was apparently involved in cocaine distribution. You know, the whole limo thing on middle class blocks. This happened in 82 according to my above average memory. I never read on article on it or went to the funeral to my recollection but these following facts I'd bet a few bucks on at least.

It happened in Detroit, very close to Dearborn, the joy/greenfield area. It was probably a side street and could've been the area his girlfriend lived. She was driving and he was sitting in the passengers seat when a man with a ski mask approached the car and fired a shotgun at Jerry, likely killing him instantly. I don't think the guy was ever caught. It's a safe guess that he was fucking with peoples money that had the power to eliminiate him.

The girl I took to the prom had her 2 kids killed in the Oklahoma City bombing.

I have atleast 3-4 friends that have been murdered...

The most common reason = Drugs.

One. She was a judge and a very nice woman.

None. A couple of suicides, but no murders. In fact I don't think I know anyone who knows anyone who's been murdered.

Only know one person who was murdered. Hit with a tire iron after a concert. Random guy on LSD just walked up to him for no reason.

Now, there's a twist. I remember playing pool with a hippie who did 15 years for 2nd degree murder. It got down to the eight ball...i let him win.

My friends mom was murdered by his brother on the night of his 18th Bday party... We where all in the basement when he stabbed her in the kitchen.

Two, my cousin and a friend. Cousin was shot when a guy started randomly firing into a crowd at a high school party, friend was robbed and killed in his home by people he knew.

30+ Attended way to many funerals in high school.

But, my college roommate is serving life in Texas for shooting and killing a guy because he raped a girl who worked for my ex-roommate. She wasn't the first girl working for my friend that the guy had raped and the police never pressed charges for any of them.

that i knew personally - 3 - one was one my mom's best friends, she was over for tea the day before her acid tripping son chopped her head off, i was very young but i remember the husband/father in our house weeping that night, my father was an attorney and represented the son, pled him criminally insane, which was of course true. this is almost 40 years ago and the son is still around, in some halfway house for criminally insane.

the next i didn't know personally to talk to but saw her around the neighborhood all time, she was a very hot 19 year old girl who lived on the street our house backed onto - she was a cheerleader for the pro football team. her body was found naked on the front lawn of her parents house in the morning, she was still living at home - murdered. it was huge news, front page news, of course because she was a beautiful cheerleader and a possibe sex angle to it. Her funeral was in a church nearby and it was massive. i don't think they found her killer which is kind of amazing. I moved away, maybe the case was solved and I just never heard about it.

and the third, there were two twin brothers, at the time they were about 16, they were real waspy blonde kids, looked like British bluebloods, good looking, tennis players and into sailing, rich so they went to the prestigious private school. only time i'd see them is when they came over to visit my best friend at the time. that's the kind of friends they were to me, my best friend had grown up with them in another neighborhood, a rich neighborhood but when his parents divorced he went with his mom and they moved to our neighborhood which was middle class not rich - i was the friend from the new neighborhood, i kinda hated when they would be there cuz I was the one who had the least in common. well anyway, one day i went over to my friend's place, house was really somber and he looked like he was crying, i thought maybe somebody in his family had died. He told me something terrible happened, Chris, one of the brothers, had been found dead, murdered, under a bridge, in his red convertible MG (told u they were rich and preppy). That was bizarre enough but the story got more strange, Pete his twin brother, went into his dead brother's room, he found a letter from Chris addressed to him. In it, Chris told him about a very creepy relationship with another kid and told Chris that if anything bad ever happened to him it would be at the hands of this other kid. I always thought that this guy could be gay, very feminine looking. But at that age, who knows, lots of kids don't have girlfriends yet. So it turned out that he had been having something of a secret relationship with this other kid who was obsessed and in love with him. I guess Chris tried to end the relationship and the other kid snapped.

My great-grandfather was murdered in Texas for a diamond stickpin he wore. Left my grandmother an orphan as her mother had already died.

One, my ex-wife's uncle smothered his 6 years old daughter to death to get back at his soon to be ex-wife. I think he is still in jail. That was 12 years ago or so in France...

If you're talking about people you just met a couple times, probably a few.

Don't know anyone who was killed but my sisters (ex, obviously) boyfriend killed his neighbors with a samurai sword. He just got sentenced to death in March
