Anyone know much about Basketball Cards?

I was a collector a long time ago when I was younger. I have 4 of the 1986-1987 Michael Jordan RC cards. The card shop guy said they were near mint condition and offered me $150 each. Hes a syster I always heard.. Would it be possible to sell them online anywhere besides ebay? Id like to get $600 for them all. last i heard they was worth about $300 each, that 600 for 4 of them would be fair at that price dont you think?

fleer? well gl getting much more than shop offered unless you can get a private sale to a end customer and that also means getting past the issue that the market is flooded with counterfeits of that card. add in the recession and it gets even more bleak.

Get them graded before you sell, it should increase your sell value. And then sell on eBay in the worst-case scenario, not that guy.

Yes, definitely get them graded. I'd be curious what their real condition is, as that year's card was an extremely tough year to have a mint card as many were off centered with corners damaged. I would try to sell them to an and user and get closer to $1500 for all of them, but it really depends on their condition.

If they are in excellent condition, Id get them graded. The card books for about $600 in near mint condition. There are several reputable places, with PSA being the largest and most trusted. If they come back with an 8 you would certainly get premium price..maybe 3-5x's book and if by chance they come back 9 and amazingly come back 10 you could see the price jump into the 15K range
